Well, I just discovered that there was this website, and i'd have to
say, whoever made this saved my life. I think the teacher said that
the Final had 80 multiple choice questions, but that they were
reasonable question that people have a chance at guessing correctly.
So (this is for you Colin, Yuou, Sophie, Alexander, Elena, and anyone
else I missed) you guys will pass it easily. Can't say that for me
though. Does anyone understand the significance of talking about
Alaska in Chapter 20 something? I don't remember what the teacher
said, but that part makes no sense.

Happy studying

Quite literaly, the significance of the Alaska section is nothing.
There is none, not where it's placed. It's just that the purchase of Alaska happened to be in that time period. Gold was discovered in 1896, so the significance will appear in later chapters, or at least that's what I think. In any case I'm sure Mrs Campbell-hale said we didn't have to worry about it right now.

What does this have to do with me?

Argh. This is absolutely ridiculous. LCH has decided to contradict herself again. Did a similar situation to this occur to anyone in another class:

Our group chose the DBQ group when the sub was there. We had a vague idea of what to do, so we started with the documents and a chart, as well as some theses. Then, on Tuesday, one of my group members goes to confirm if what we're doing is correct (as in: to check if we needed outside information), and she said we were doing it correctly (no outside info). Then, in class today, she decides she hates our group because we didn't bring in outside info on the people who the documents were about.... then she threatened to fail the entire class!

Does anyone else think something is wrong, here?

I didn't know you guys had asked her beforehand!  :-/  Did you specifically ask her about outside info?
Apparently she was nice-ish to the other classes.  :(

She sort of does it - I wouldn't get too upset over it, besides, she
can be vague last time (remember the time when she didn't mention
homework to 2nd period?). Just take it as a lesson and go on! :)

Yeah, oh well. next time, we'll be absolutely 100% sure. Maybe we need a contract system where we hear all the terms of the agreement, eh?

Nice... We've been talking about the "bosses" in Chicago, etc.  Maybe she's Boss Hale?  :D

Maybe she's right about us not remembering anything... it's because we don't want to, eh? Better things to do with our time than think about the history of our boring country.
