Hi,

In our company we have four nodes with 2 storage targets each node. One node has failed and it seems that all is working properly but now we want to start two clients and fails showing this message:

[Remoting (stat storage targets)] >> Error target (storage): 401; Msg: Communication error
(0) Nov07 09:52:10 *mount(16647) [Mount sanity check] >> Retrieval of storage server free space info failed. Are the storage servers running and registered at the management daemon? Did you remove a storage target directory on a server? (Error: Communication error)

Is there any way to start the clients without this node or we have to wait until the node will be up again.

Thanks,

Xavi.

Hi Xavi,

you can set sysMountSanityCheckMS=0 in /etc/beegfs/beegfs-client.conf to disable
this check.

Best regards,
Sven
