We are in the middle of upgrading our production environment from CentOS 7 to Rocky Linux 8 and cannot get BeeGFS 7.1 to run on Rocky Linux 8. How can we have a mixed BeeGFS environment so that while we work on upgrading our servers to Rocky Linux 8 we still support CentOS 7 BeeGFS 7.1 clients? It looks like BeeGFS 7.2 supports RHEL7 and RHEL8 so would we need to upgrade to that?

Yes, we are running a mixed RHEL7 and RHEL8 environment here using BeeGFS
7.2, and I think BeeGFS 7.2 is the only release that supports both.
