Hi Guys,

I just installed new server with latest CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804. Installed latest BeeGFS 7.0 client and it not working.
Do I miss something or BeeGFS is not supported on Centos 7.5?

 cat beegfs-client.log

Had the same issue some months ago - check out the centos 7.5 patch on their website: https://www.beegfs.io/wiki/ofed4.3patch
You need to rebuild the client afterwards.

Thanks for the Kernel link. This fixed the RDMA problem which I have noticed.

Also I have found out that  beegfs-client is not backward compatible in the same release (7).
My  beegfs-mgmtd is running 7.0-rc2el7 and the client is running stable version 7.0-el7, and they don't talk.

I have found on this list that client 7.0-rc3 wasn't able to talk to beegfs-mgmtd 7.0rc2 as well.

So it looks like I need to upgrade everything.

This information should be corrected on the website as it stay incorrect.

Thanks,
Irek
