BeeGFS Support Stammtisch

Hello Everyone,

just a quick reminder that we have our BeeGFS Support
Stammtisch scheduled for 17:00 CEST tomorrow, Tuesday October 18.

The Stammtisch is held bi-weekly to provide an opportunity for our
community users to connect to the BeeGFS support team, provide answers to
questions regarding your BeeGFS deployments and to discuss your specific
BeeGFS configurations in some depth.

No registration is required to attend and we will meet in this Zoom

somehow this didn't work out - Oct 18 was Monday, and I had to travel
yesterday Tuesday. Also I will miss the next event :/


As there's no summary of topics discussed during the Stammtisches I have
missed (for whatever reasons), my question may have been asked, and
possibly even answered, before - if so, please forgive me, pointers are
appreciated:

The package "beegfs-client-dkms", taken from the Debian buster repository
on www.beegfs.io, fails to install on a system running a 5.10 (backported
to Buster from Bullseye) Linux kernel.
Are there plans to (in the near future) support 5.10 which is also the
default kernel of Debian "stable" since August 14?
