MLNX OFED 5.8 LTS (1.1.2.1) with BeeGFS 7.3.2 or newer?

Hi,

Has anyone tested BeeGFS 7.3.2 with OFED 5.8 LTS?

For the ThinkParQ'ers; will you support OFED 5.8-1.1.2.1 LTS with 7.3.3?

Any update on this? since ofed 5.6 and 5.7 are not LTS i would be interested in this

Hi,

For production systems where you only apply a verified configuration and rarely need experimenting and low-level diagnostics, I'd recommend using drivers from the Linux kernel.

A gratis is when a bug-fix from MLNX arrives you know exactly what has been fixed from the kernel ChangeLog and git logs.

MLNX OFED is too invasive to be installed on a production system, IMHO.
