Hi,

Hi,

Heiko sent me his TellStick so I could write a module to interface Telldus' TellStick with FHEM; I just checked in the initial, "works for me" version of 70_TellStick.pm.

It's not pretty and requires a working telldus-core environment, but maybe it's usefull for someone anyway.

As Heiko expects his TellStick back, I'm rather interessted in some feedback from other TellStick owners.

Ciao,
-kai

Hi Kai,

can it receive InterTechno ? Do you have access to the RF-Part of the stick?
Are you connecting via a socket, or via USB ?

Thanks,
best,
Olaf

The one I have access to is the send-only one. The TellStick Duo is capable of receiving some 433 MHz protocols, but is currently out of stock.

From my perspective, a TellStick (Duo) is a CUL433 type of device, the telldus-core software interfaces with it like FHEM e. g. with a CUL. And no, one does not have direct access to the HW.

As I said, I connect via "tdtool", which uses the, IIRC, open-sourced libraries to talk to the stick. One could interact directly with the stick, but AFAIK not with the RF part, only with the TellStick firmware.

Regards,
-kai

MfG Jens
