Opening weekend!

The Kentucky Derby has become the unofficial opening event for the 2026 Fair Harbor season. Le Dock will be open for dinner on Friday night and it's hosting its annual Derby party on Saturday, opening at 3:00pm. Pioneer opens on Saturday morning, along with the liquor store and Corliss, both open this weekend too. 

The FHCA is busy with insurance, projects, and more. Please join us at https://www.fairharbor.org/dues/. That page shows all ways to pay. And we need your support! In addition to collecting money for the bay beach lifeguard program, we built a railing on bay walk that now extends to Birch, we fixed the light at the dock that had water damage, we've purchased a new piece for the playground to repair the old piece, and we've cleaned up the town. And there's more to come, like Sing Along With King, Fitness at the Fire House, Kids Movies, Kids Art, and more. 

We need someone to help us manage the hobie cat/kayak area. Rental there is $150 for a hobie cat and $50 for kayaks. Amy Beth Stern will manage the kids movies but we need weekly hosts. We can do games at the Fire House but need a team leader for that. Please reply if you want to help. And please join us!
