As we prepare for the upcoming holidays,I thought you might like to see this early morning photo from the Surfline camera at Broadway, looking east. Also, please remember these December dates: 

FERRY PARKING LOTTERY: Tuesday, Dec. 2 at noon-1pm - Please note that this lottery is for everyone on the west end of FI. Because Ocean Beach and Saltaire own their ferry docks, they are allotted a specific number of spots at a different time. This lottery is for everyone else. Remember too, that if you don't get seasonal parking, you can always purchase parking in the main lot for 30 consecutive days at a set rate, along with a few other options. Check with Fire Island Ferries for more info. Good luck everyone. 

TOI MEETING: Tuesday, December 16 at 2pm - If you're interested in voicing your support or concerns about the Town of Islip issuing a peddler's permit to Nick Newman for a coffee trailer on his commercial property near Pioneer, please do so at the public hearing on Dec. 16 at Town Hall in Islip.
