From Nick and Stacy Newman regarding their proposed coffee cart in Fair Harbor:
We would like to thank the entire community for the support we are receiving. Also thank you to Judy Corcoran for getting the word out about the upcoming hearing and for supporting us. Lastly I would like to thank Robbie Whitney and family for supporting us with this project. I would like to share this drawing of what the property and trailer location will look like if we get approval. It will be a beautiful location and there will be more than enough space for customers to order coffee entirely on our property without being on the public walk. This will ensure that there will be NO interruption in traffic flow in town. There will be a fence up along the property behind the bike rack which will block the trailer and area from visibility from the street. Also important to note that the trailer is run on electric and therefore will create no noise. We believe, as most in the community do, that this will be nothing but a positive addition to the community. Please email your support to the Town of Islip Council to make sure they know everyone will love this Kismet Coffee trailer. We hope to be serving your favorite gourmet coffee to you this summer.
Again if you need more specifics on this please don’t hesitate to email or call us. We are very happy to talk about this project that we are very passionate about.
