Fair Harbor lost Jane Newman last night after many years of chronic illness. She was at home with husband Billy and her family. Her family will be honoring her on Sunday, Aug 3, 4-7pm at Chapey's Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, East Islip, (631-581-5600) and a celebration of life, which was her preference, will be at a later date, most likely in September.
