Maryland Department of Agriculture and University of Maryland
Extension are teaming up to offer a Food Safety Training that will aid
farmers in pursuing Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) Certification.
As we all know food safety is of utmost importance, and I urge farmers
to consider participating in this training even if they do not plan on
becoming GAP Certified.
The training for fruit and vegetable growers in the Baltimore Region
will take place on March 1 at the Baltimore County Agricultural
Center.
