We are looking to folks in our region for their perspectives on the
state of our food system, and ideas for improvement, as part of a
Future Harvest CASA initiative, funded by the Town Creek Foundation,
to develop a plan to strengthen the local foodshed. Please take a
moment to answer this BRIEF five-question survey:

The "region" includes the states where Future Harvest CASA operates -
Maryland, West Virginia, the northern part of Virginia and Delaware.
You could also consider it 100-150 miles around cities of Baltimore
and Washington, DC. "Foodshed" means the food system unique to this
region. The Maryland Department of Planning describes the food system
as "… the entire process of getting food to people for consumption,
and includes production, processing, marketing, distribution and
selling" (
