The Pennsylvania Women's Agricultural Network presents Transitioning to Mob Grazing at Yeehaw Farm (51 Rohrer Drive, Duncannon, PA 17020)
July 12, 2013
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Join PA-WAgN as we tour Yeehaw Farm and learn how Judi and Tom Radel transitioned their diversified livestock production into a mob grazing system in just a few short years. The Radels are excited about the potential they see for pasture management and animal stocking increases. Titus Martin, grazing specialist for NRCS, will share his experience as a grazing mentor with the Franklin County Graziers while identifying the next steps in the Radels' grazing plan. Judi and Titus will share their experiences while teaching the basics of mob grazing and the resulting increase in pasture quality. Judi is PA-WAgN's Animal Production mentor for 2013. She raises dairy and beef cows, sheep, goats, poultry and hogs on their 160 farm in Duncannon, PA.
