July 15, Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Presented by Judi Radel, PA-WAgN’s 2013 Animal and Meat Production Specialty Mentor

Judi and her husband Tom operate Yeehaw Farm, Judi’s family’s farm in Perry County.
They began switching their conventional farm over to sustainable practices and have been very pleased with the results. Two years ago they began transitioning their dairy and beef herds as well as sheep to a mob grazing plan and have been excited to see the increase in their pasture quality and output.
During this Farminar, Judi will describe their experiences in transitioning their pastures to mob grazing. She will explain fencing requirements, watering systems, animal movement, etc. She will also review the benefits they have encountered and the possibilities mob grazing offers them to streamline their operation and increase profitability.
