The MD Sheep Breeders is hosting a day long educational seminar that will occur during prior to our annual banquet. The event is at the Howard County Fairgrounds.
SPEAKER: Dr. Dan Morrical from Iowa State University is the invited speaker. His teaching specialties include instruction in production systems, management, resource evaluation and allocation, nutrition health, financial records, and low cost nutrition alternatives. His area of research is sheep nutrition, sheep health, fetal and lamb survival.
LUNCH: A special lunch of grilled lamb slider + sausage, tortellini soup with lamb sausage and more will be a culinary delight.

SUPPLY SWAP: Bring 1-3 sheep or farm related items that you want to ‘swap’. For example, bring a sock pattern, skein of yarn, farm tool, sheep book – then use your ‘swap ticket’ to choose a ‘new-to-you’ item from the table.
