Hello All,
Many of you will likely remember Lindsay Chandler from the Rogers GS Regional Office. Lindsay has left GS, but is still very involved in the community, still supports GS and is asking for our help. She currently works for Washington Regional Hospice and sent
me the below/attached information. If anyone would like to help our local Hospice - please see below and attached. You may donate directly to them. I would ask that you post a picture on our FB page or send to me so we know what troops helped out. I also
have fashion elastic I can donate if you'd like to use that.
Thanks so much Jennifer!!!!! Let me know if anyone has questions
The document attached to the email goes with the post/email whichever is easier.
Washington Regional Hospice is looking for volunteers to make masks for our healthcare staff. Washington Regional Hospital will be the main COVID-19 hospital in NWA. Each patient that cannot be treated
at the hospital will be sent home with medication to have comfort care at home. The Hospice staff will then be taking care of all of these patients that are at home and we expect a huge influx in the coming weeks. These masks will help ensure that our Nurses
and Aides can protect themselves while helping families with their loved ones that have COVID-19. If they do not have the equipment, they will not be protected. If anyone would like to make a difference during this hard time, this would be a way to do it!
Follow the pattern shown and deliver the finished masks to the Willard Walker Hospice Home located at 325 E Longview St in Fayetteville, AR. For
questions feel free to email Lindsay Chandler at lchand...@gmail.com
