I spoke with the local brewery in Estes Park recently http://www.epbrewery.net/ they would love to host our car show but only have enough parking for 50-60 cars.
Of course this is just preliminary talking with them and there will need to be much more discussed once we actually choose the location. My biggest concern is that our show is going to be considerably larger than 60 cars, he did say that his neighbor Sun City (a water park and go-cart race track) might be a good place to look to see if they would share their parking lot for the show as well. They are currently closed for the season but the brewery told me I can contact them by leaving a message.
The Brewery said that it was possible for a non-profit organization (us) to apply for a short term outdoor liquor permit to allow the Brewery to serve us outside during the show if we wanted that option.
If we decide on another venue for the Car show they did say that Friday night is a possibility for a “smaller show-n-shine” of sort if we wanted for a different option to show off our cars to the public in Estes.
Thoughts anyone?
