All,
Dave and I had a good call with the YMCA this afternoon. Attached is their latest proposal. We got them to come down on their pricing for their least expensive lodging option (the Mt. Ypsilon Lodge), so that a party of two would only be $105/night. This is an excellent rate for those of our members who are looking for economical lodging (the next best thing in town is going to be in the $175/night range, and people would need to drive to Loveland to find anything cheaper).
They are also providing us with our own private parking area (holds approximately 75 cars with surrounding grass area for overflow if we need it) and a 4,500 sq. foot building immediately adjacent to the parking area. We get exclusive access to the parking area and the building for the entire weekend AT NO ADDITIONAL COST.
We can go over this in greater detail on our call tonight. Talk to you soon. Scott

Thank you all again for your time and interest. Attached is a revised proposal ...answering most of your questions. Look for revisions and answers in BLUE. This includes REDUCED RATES FOR MT YPSILON.
The Special Events information and Family Cabin rates are also attached. (Regular cabin rates apply and do not include meals). See Proposal for meal ticket prices. Also, the BBQ outside of Willome would be $21 per adult, $10.50 per child 6-12, and under 6 free. This would include set up, buffet style service, and take down.
I'll look forward to your reply ...or please call with additional questions. I'll be in at 8am Mountain Time.
Thanks!
Ken

Hi Gail,
Any chance you could find a few minutes tomorrow (Wednesday) to join David and I on a call with the Estes Park YMCA? We are ready to firm up our arrangements with them and would welcome any insight & assistance you can provide. David and I are fairly flexible, so we’ll try to work around your schedule.
For your convenience I have attached our sponsorship information form along with the most recent proposal and pricing we’ve received from the YMCA. Also, below is the latest draft of our schedule of activities. The four items highlighted in bold are the meals that we would likely purchase from the YMCA. We’re projecting approximately 75-100 cars to show up with perhaps twice that many guests. Assuming the room rates are reasonable, we figure we will need at least 50-60 rooms for three nights each.
