hi ffmpeg wmv broadcast problem

We are converting video files in debian using ffmpeg to wmv format to
broadcast them using mms protocol in windows 2003 server by windows
media services. Although they are playable by progressive download,
they can't be played by streaming. When we look into the properties
tab of files in windows there is nothing but duration and bit rate
infos. Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?
