Hi. Like everybody else, I'm trying to make an automatic thumbnailer.
I got it to work pretty easily, but I would like to know if it's
possible to specify multiple target with different seek times, all in
one go?
The idea is to take a movie and automatically convert it into
thumbnails for each, say, 5 minutes. Currently, I use a batch script
to invoke ffmpeg several times, and it's working fine - but I am
guessing that performance will be dramatically improved if I was able
to run ffmpeg just once.
I have tried using the -newvideo to split my output into several
targets, but no luck so far. Perhaps the -ss (seek) option doesn't
support multiple targets?
Best regards,
