Hi,

ffmbc -i input.mov -vcodec prores -profile proxy -pix_fmt yuv422p10le -acodec pcm_s24le output-proxy.mov

I'm attempting to negate having to put the input and output filename in this script. I'm attempting to take a file dropped into a folder and convert it to a ProRes Proxy with this script. Ideally, I'd like to use the existing filename and then add a -proxy to the suffix to indicate it's converted.

Can anyone help explain how to use the current filename? (I'm attempting this with automator FOLDER ACTIONS or SERVICE)

Thanks so much

You'll have to save the filename to a variable and run a loop command like the described in the following li k:

HTH.
