Hi,
I tried convert video file MXF (XDCAM HD 422) 2 mono tracks to MOV container with 1 stereo track.
Video is OK but audio is 1 track mono (mixdown?).
I use this command:

ffmbc -i "<SourceFileName.mxf>" -tff -ac 2 -target xdcamhd422 -vtag xd5c -y <OutputFileName>.mov

I know that I should use option "map_channel" but I totaly don't know how use it properly.
Can somebody help me what type in command line and why?
THX!

Please post the full output of  ffmbc -i "<SourceFileName.mxf>"  so I can understand the structure of your SourceFileName.mxf and I think I can help explain the use of map and why.

ffmbc -i inputfile.mxf -tff -ac 2 -target xdcamhd422 -vtag xd5c -y outputfile.mov

Syntax for audio mapping is
-map_audio_channel 0:1:0:0:1:0 -map_audio_channel 0:2:0:0:1:1

The numbering is InFile:InTrack:Inchannel:Outfile:Outtrack:OutChannel
Numbering starts at zero.
Thus, it says use first input file1, track 1 (first audio track), channel 1 (there is only one),
spit that out to the new file,  and do the same for the second mono track, but map that to the first audio track, next channel.
