Porting the ActiveX controller of my DVR

Hi to everyone,
I have a standalone DVR manufactured by TECVOZ. Its interface is built
on an activex controller so I can see my cameras just using internet
explorer. Do you think I can use some softwares or try to convert this
controller in something that I can open from Firefox - Chrome etc.?
