The list of fandoms already disqualified from Festivids: 2025 Fandom Disqualifications. This document will be updated as we evaluate fandoms this year.

The guide to evaluating rarity using youtube: Evaluating Rarity. Contains the explanation of how Festivids finds and counts vids to evaluate whether a fandom is rare. This is also where to find a list of extensions and userscripts that Festividders might find helpful.

Some early results from prescreening fandoms:
These fandoms were borderline last year and are now ineligible: Blue Eye Samurai (Cartoon), Megamind (2010), Severance (Apple TV), Subnautica (Video Games), Totally Spies, What We Do in the Shadows (TV), ダンジョン飯 | Dungeon Meshi | Delicious in Dungeon (Anime 2024)

These fandoms were ineligible last year but are now eligible: Avatar the Last Airbender (Live Action 2024), Constantine (TV 2014), Fables: The Wolf Among Us (Video Game), Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, 대박부동산 | Sell Your Haunted House (TV)
