Ihave purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 recently and the bluetooth connection with Zwift seems to work. However, I also have an external ant+ dongle which I would like to use and connect. (I previously used this for laptop zwifting, but laptop broke down.)

Thanks CJ. I followed your links to Playstore. Unfortunately I get the message that apps are not available to me as they are made for an older version on android. Do you think an update may be coming?

When I plug my Galaxy S6 Edge into my computer, Android Studio does not recognize it as an available USB device. I've tried to download a USB Driver update and I have USB Debugging checked on my phone, but nothing is working. What else do I need to do in order to run my app on my phone?

If you see the connected device in the "Other devices" of the Device Manager, try adding "Hardware Ids" of it to android_winusb.inf. Then select "Update Driver Software" in the Device Manager. The detail can be found in the link below. In my environment, adb_usb.ini was not there, so I skipped it but could recognize my Galaxy S6 Edege. =190&blog=news

Please use another USB cable which is not coming wth a Samsung mobile. it will work for sure. I wasted almost 2 days fixing this issue finally went out and buy another cable. It worked. No need for any other software change.

I know I'm a bit late to answer, but maybe it will help other people in future. Me too I've got a Samsung S7 Edge, and couldn't debug with it. After some checking I realized that the reason is the Knox/My Knox. See here: -topic/can-i-use-usb-debugging-mode-device-running-knoxWhat I've done is just go to playstore, found there My Knox and clicked Uninstall, then switched on USB debugging in Developer options that was previously grayed out. (There are some other manuals on how to disable Knox. Some of them require rooting, but after rooting, I believe Samsung warranty will not work, if something happens to your phone. )

I seriously doubt that you can update it to a current version of Android as the original product was released in 2015 and was running Android 4.4. You can read more about it here: _galaxy_tab_e_9_6-7295.php

The tablet you have might be able to be updated manually, but there are no guarantees that it would be compatible due to the current specifications/hardware. You would be better off getting a newer tablet instead. I think that my current tablet that was released in 2020 is being sold for about $400 and is still a recommended tablet on some review sites, even though it is about 3 years old.

Alternatively, you can visit the Samsung website or contact Samsung customer support to inquire about the availability of updates for your Galaxy Tab E model and whether it can be updated to the latest Android version.

Please note that the information provided is based on general knowledge, and it is always recommended to consult official sources or reach out to the manufacturer for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding software updates for your specific device.

my moto m has the same problem. i had it for 1 year now and it barely charges. i need to push the cable before it charges, but i dont want to keep it like that always, so i put the cable between the radiator. today, though, when i blugged it in, it had 47% of battery, but after 15 minutes it had only about 25 and i hadnt been using it at all! i have a solution which may help. erase all "recent apps", but its brightness all the way down and hope it will charge. if anyone has any other solution, outside of buing a new phone (which i plan to be the honor 9x), please comment here!!!

3) Navigate to your data settings and press the menu button (it's left of the home button on the S4) and choose to turn off background running apps. This will make all of the apps that remain active even when you don't use your phone to stop draining your battery. BUT DON'T FORGET TO TURN THEM BACK ON once you have a sufficient amount of battery life

5) You can also try booting up in recovery or safe mode. Shut off your phone and... Actually Google that part and enter your model and make of your phone to get the accurate instructions on how to do it correctly.

6) Last under the absolute worst case scenario that none of the other steps have seem to work for you. Before buying a new battery or phone you could do a factory reset. This will delete all apps that aren't one of your pre-installed apps. Don't worry, you can back up everything first through Google by syncing your phone it will save all of your data. ALL of your data basically. Also you can backup with your Samsung account. Once you get that done simply shut off and when you power on press the volume down and power buttons at the same time until you see the android robot screen and choose WIPE PHONE. Confirm your decision and give it a few minutes to do its job and it'll restart automatically and begin to restore your phone if you are connected to WiFi. But don't do that yet. Let your phone completely charge normal with all of your usual settings going. This will let you see that it was clearly an app draining your battery or if indeed your battery is shot.

Pl. check the voltage of your charger; if low then it will reverse the charging, if it is hitting the mobile more, then use a lower voltage charger, this should solve your problem. use other tips mentioned

the other 20% is usually that the Charge port is causing the issue. the charge port reads that the cord is present, but will not pull the current into the phone. In which case, replacing the port will fix the issue.

I have that problem when I charge my Siri Phone just got on the 11th of December! It seems to wait for me to plug it in socket the after 15 minutes, you noticed the Draining then I get a text that I have 2 percent on the battery, then I charge it! Absurd, this is happening to regularly, I have thirty (30) days before taking it back!!!

Do not try and fix a phone by throwing parts at it first. Especially when you don't know what's wrong with it. My wife decided to skip troubleshooting and buy a charger, problem continues so she bought a battery that I had to install cause it's internal.... problem continues.... moral of the story is she wasted money by just buying parts that aren't the underlying problem... can't downvote this dumb answer but atleast I can comment on it....

1) Usually it's the CABLE! For me, replacing the old cable w/a new one seemed to always fix it. Old/cheap cables don't just 'break'. Some of the individual wires begin to break over time, restricting the electricity flow.

3) Regardless of the cause, you'll get better/quicker results if you limit the number of things running on the phone in the background as you charge. The last person's suggestion of resetting the phone could help, but beware of losing settings &/or data that you might want to document or backup first.

By the way... i don't know if this is permitted here or not. If not, hopefully they'll just edit-out this paragraph rather than not-post my whole message. Regarding good quality cables and charging banks, check out MagFast.

This is a simple fix 80 percent of the time it's just the cable of the charger has a fault or is dirty in the phone charge socket or wall socket. Which can be cleaned with an ear bud or tooth pick. If the wire of the charger has a fault just have it replaced with a brand new one or a spare (if you have one). The other 20 percent of the time it's the storage on your phone which can drain battery power. The best way to see what's draining it is to get this recommended app called cleaner. This will show the drainage on your battery power. Finnaly the last thing to do with this 20 percent of the time is in the settings go on to developer settings and put change the SUB to charge only at socket. Simple right.

Not a cable or the battery or the phone its someone you chat with doing it to you like keying your car or prank calling you I know trust me k they turn my device on then my camera an mic an watch me in my sleep its creepy they took over my life my facebook the people you may know ? Get a new phone and set it up with a new Google account and stop doing dumb crap on the internet.... with a new phone and Google account the hacker can't connect you to the phone. Problem solved... ps they are not in Nigeria. This type of manipulation happens by somebody close to you not halfway across the world... someone who can physically see your turmoil. If this problem. Continues it proves it is someone you know n see often....
