Hello,
Metropolitan Family Service is currently seeking two full time Program Coordinators for our Economic Empowerment program. If you can spread the word about our position opening to any of your networks, we would be most grateful. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Both positions require a fluency in English and Spanish. These positions offer full benefits and will be based at our Belmont office (1808 SE Belmont St, Portland). The full job descriptions are attached to this email. 

1) Program Coordinator - Economic Empowerment - Full time


MFS is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator for our Economic Empowerment program at MFS. Under the supervision of the Program Manager for Economic Empowerment, Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operation of the MFS Economic Empowerment alignment work, providing financial coaching services at the CASH tax preparation site in Beaverton and other financial coaching as needed, providing group based and 1:1 Economic Empowerment education in schools (including Beaverton schools), providing financial education classes such as Your Money Your Goals, providing case management to clients in the IDA program, and supervising one AmeriCorps member. The Program Coordinator will also facilitate client connection to other Economic Empowerment programs. Position requires candidates who are bi-lingual in English and Spanish and have capability to read, write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish.  Fluency will be evaluated at the time of hire. 2) Program Coordinator - Economic Empowerment - Promise Neighborhood Initiative - Full time  


MFS is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator for our Economic Empowerment program at MFS. Under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Program Coordinator is responsible for implementation of financial capabilities services into school and community sites within the Promise Neighborhood Initiative service area. Services will be delivered both one on one and in group settings and will be for students and parents. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining partnerships with all staff and agencies involved in the Promise Neighborhood Initiative. Position requires candidates who are bi-lingual in English and Spanish and have capability to read, write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish. Fluency will be evaluated at the time of hire. This position is scheduled for 40 hours/week and offers full benefits. Job # PCPNI1031
