Divider closed at Holistic hospital

Dear friends,

During the rush hours, the traffic on Nizampet road has become a nightmare and at the last Federation of Nizampet Road meeting we planned to meet the ACP Traffic and apprise him of the situation.

Many have also been mentioning that the traffic has become worse after the divider at Holistic hospital has been closed. How many of you think so?

Please share your ideas and lets have a brief discussion on this before we meet the ACP.

I think it's a good move to close the divider opposite the hospital, more traffic at U turn is because of a) the vehicles parked irresponsibly in front of chicken shop and curry point vendor and b) wrong route taken by vehicles taking the lane adj to hospital/ hospital visitors. If that could be controlled in some manner, it may improve situation is my view. 

Of course a longer term solution is needed to take care of increasing vehicle density.

Federation Committee is meeting on Sunday 20.11.16 to discuss representation to be given and issues will be taken up with concerned very strongly.

In short, we request for the below listed measures to be taken up  for smooth flow of traffic.

 

1.                              Removal of hawkers and encroachments

2.                              Road side parking of Four wheelers shall not be allowed

3.                              “No-Parking” at U-Turns shall be strictly enforced

4.                              Wrong side driving shall be stopped

5.                              Restoration of Right-Turn at Seven Hills Apartment

6.                              Long distance travel buses shall not be allowed before 9 pm

                         7.              Buses and Autos shall not be allowed to be stopped in the middle of the road at Highway crossing.

Dear All,

The Federation team has met MLA Gandhi garu and Corporator Janakirama Raju garu and they have visited Nizampet road along with Municipal Dy Commissioner, Traffic and town planning officials on Wednesday morning at 10 AM. 

The divider has been opened at Holistic hospital. Hope it eases the traffic. 

Thanks to the elected representatives and senior citizens in the committee that have taken up this responsibility.

But problem is only half solved as people park their 4 wheelers on road near Navarang garments blocking U turn.

There should be a NO PARKING board placed with "fine and imprisonment"!!!
