Let's make one more serious effort to convince the Board Chairman/Member Secretary by meeting them and requesting them to intervene effectively. If we don't succeed, PIL in High Court should help us. The problem is so acute that it brooks no more delay. On 9th Aug I returned to Hyderabad by Road at about 8.00 PM. When I got down from the car the stench was so powerful that I developed breathlessness and severe cough and had to run indoors to be able to breath easy. I was traveling again till now and didn't have time to report.
Telangana State Govt is going overboard to set up new Pharma Companies in Hyderabad. This is the time to highlight the dark side of the existing Pharma Industries already polluting Hyderabad.

There seems to be no action at your end on containing the air pollution in spite of our repeated appeals over a period of four years.
Today the air pollution continued almost through the day. It has spread from Bachupally to Gachibowli.
The public is silently suffering. The children are most effected in all these areas.
This inaction from government department is causing serious concerns amongst public.
Hope good senses prevail on authorities and the concerns officers are advised to address this soonest.
Pls see the previous correspondence form 2010 onwards on the subject.
ThanksRatna Gopal-----------------------Sent from my iPhoneDear SirsThe saga of air pollution continues..
With this rate of ongoing air pollution due to release of toxic gases, it is not far when the residents in & around the areas of Bachupally/ Miyapur/ Nizampet would fall sick and crippled for life time inhaling these toxic gases.
Our repeated appeals to the concerned authorities are in vain.
There had been some relief for a short time after we met Mr Ravi Chandra, the then Member secretary of Pollution board during March 12.
The pollution surfaced back with same intensity if not more in the recent past. This is more alarming during weekends.
Our experiences of informing survey team has proven to be a wasteful exercise. They claim to be away form these areas all the time when we call them. Some times they come and that too after two /three hours after our call and by that time pollution would have stopped. They go back with usual response that they are not able to identify the source.
It is unbelievable & unacceptable by any standards that the culprit is not identified since four years.
We once again earnestly request you to take effective steps to stop this air pollution for ever and save lives of the residents

Dear Sirs,
There seems to be no end for this SAGA of air pollution in the near future. The illegitimate release of toxic gases by the errant company in Bachupally area is continuing inspire of alerting all of you since October 2010.
When we met member secretary in March 12, it was apprehended that the incineration unit being operated by Ramky industries could be the culprit and as understood from department officials this unit was asked to shut down for 45 days. The fact remains that during that shutdown period, the pollution was non existent mostly but for a few rare occasions.
The situation has now worsened since beginning of May 12. The only difference is severalty increased and timings for release of the toxic gases is elongated stretching to mid nights.
Yesterday the air pollution continued from 8 PM till 1.30 AM. Your patrol team was witness to this when they visited my area at 1 AM and we all felt the effect of the sever air pollution at that time. Those officers have very much experienced the pollution and felt the gravity. We are not sure whether the message is reaching to the right persons through them or not.
It thus amounts playing with public and taking advantage of distance voice of public not reaching the ears of the persons assigned to act on this as a part of their duty.
We will keep writing these appeal notes and definitely alert public in near future hopefully to create mass movement with in the per-view of our great democratic constitution and try to send our message across to reach the corridors of power till the guilty (who ever it is) are punished

We regret to inform you that in spite of our repeated petitions, the matter seems to have not been addressed. The air pollution is still continuing in & around Bachupally. The errant industry seems to be wise to release the toxic gases in the middle of nights now a days.
Our fervent calls to the survey team are unanswered most of the times. They respond very rarely with typical answer " we will look into this"
We are very frustrated due to the indifferent attitude of the responsible officers who are not taking action on the errant industries.

We the residents of Hill County at Bachupally, Hyderabad, AP., have been complaining to your good self since Oct 2010 of severe air pollution on our area. In spite of our repeated memos to your department ( pls see below) we still have the severe air pollution in our area.
The fumes are so toxic, that it is becoming extremely difficult to come out of the houses during that time of release of toxic fumes. We have had your survey teams visiting the site right at the time of pollution and they appreciated the problem. Though they have not shared with us, we are very sure that the source of the pollution is very much known to them. They apparently did not take measures to stop the release of toxic gases.
Thus our repeated pleas have only reached the deaf ear from the department.
On one side we are proud to notice how actively our ministry of environment & pollution is keen to minimize the pollution from existing as well as new industries. , but in our case, the problem seems to have not been reached the attention of the right officer in the department.
Given an opportunity we will personally explain to you.
May I request your good self to attend to the problem and caution the errant industry to stop releasing of toxic fumes.

Importance: HighDear Sri Madhusudhana Rao garu,Greetings! This is a fervent appeal and request to your good self to address the air pollution menace at Maytas Hill county, Bachupally area.We have been taking up the issue with the department ( chain of mails below and innumerable number of telephone calls) since Oct 2010.The problem is: Some of the nearby chemical industries are releasing pungent toxic gases to atmosphere sporadically resulting in unbearable air pollution, causing great concern to our families and posing threats for the very continuation of residing in that area.Whenever there is release of toxic gases we used to call the team and the task force officers also. On our requests, the officials (survey teams) visited the area on three occasions right at the time of release of toxic gases and DID experience the nature of pollution. However there have been no improvement of this situation. The errant company is releasing toxic gases very frequently and do not seem to bother and care for the rules of the land. We also feel the pollution department by virtue of the smell of the toxic gases could have got an idea of the errant industry who is violating the pollution norms. In this helpless situation I, on behalf the Hill County Residents association am approaching you with the request to kindly intervene and advise the concerned to take measures to stop the release of toxic gases from the errant industry. We may also request you to kindly give us an appointment when office bearers of Hill County Owners assn will explain you in person the gravity of the problem. We eagerly look forward to your affirmative response, Sir.ThanksRatna GopalFrom: Ratna Gopal [mailto:ratna...@hotmail.com]

We are residing at Bachupally. There are some chemical & Pharmaceutical industries nearby. They release toxic chemicals to atmosphere almost regularly in the evenings & nights. During weekends & holidays the release is done in day & night also.
These fumes as you apprecaite are very dangerous and pose serious health hazards. At times it is so severe that we have breathing problems too.
We earnestly look forward to your help in taking up the matter with the concerned company and arrest these toxic vents to atmosphere immediately.
