Dear all,
The FEniCS Project would like to start publishing "Research
highlights" or "Success stories" on the main FEniCS Project web
page. The idea is to let FEniCS users summarize their research in a
few paragraphs which will then be published and featured on the
official FEniCS web page. We aim to collect a number of such
highlights and update the featured articles frequently.
We are inviting you all to contribute such "success stories" based on
your recent research (papers). This would expose your research to a
wide audience (the FEniCS web site has approx. 1500 visitors per
week); for us, this allows us to demonstrate how FEniCS is used; and
for other users, it may be interesting to see how FEniCS is used in
various ways by other researchers.
The format for a "FEniCS Success story" is:
[Graphical highlight -- 366x282 in png/jpg format preferably]
[Short summary of research and how FEniCS was used]
[Brief information about the author(s)]
[Reference list, optionally with a link to repository/docker image]
In total this should not be much longer than 2/3-1 page and be on a
relatively high level. Plain txt format for the text would be perfect,
we will format your input to make it web ready and possibly make minor
edits to ensure a consistent style.
Please send contributions to me (
m...@simula.no) at your convenience. I
will also contact you and others individually and regularly as new
research results citing FEniCS find their way into my Google Scholar
alert ;-)
Thanks,
Marie
