Importance of Gua Number - the illustration of a recent feng shui case

In fengshui practice, Gua number is called year star also. The Gua
Number of people is the mystical element of the people, which we
called Na Yin (the character of the Gua Number or star). The character
of the Gua number decides the essential personal needs in life. In
other words, it would be some principles that decide people the extent
of happiness. The following Fengshui case is a good illustration for
the beginner.

One of our fengshui masters had been using Eight Mansion theory to
check the feng shui for a couple’s house. When he just got the plane
paper of their house, he asked the birth year of them. He immediately
told the couples that they don’'t live in harmony; always have
quarrels and most of the time the discords were caused by the wife. By
calculating, the master even told them in which month they have most
frictions since they moved. It was so accurate that shocked these
couples a lot. The master explained that reason to them. Actually the
Gua Number (year star) of that man was Qian Gua. In fengshui pratice,
we call the star Six White, Which belong to Metal element. The Gua
number of that lady is Li Gua; we called it Nine Purple, which belongs
to Fire element. Fire destroys the metal, so they always had discords
in life; and the lady triggered quarrels mostly. In the other hand,
their house is Zheng Gua house that belongs to Eastern 4 mansions,
which are inclusive of Zheng Gua house, Xun Gua house, LiGua house and
Kan Gua house. The main entrance of their house was located in west
(Dui Gua); it means the house absorbed the Chi of metal. It seemed
that was good for the male owner, Wait a minute, the entrance was in
the position of Jue ming, the destroying area which was recognized as
the door that would absorb the most ominous Chi for this house! Their
house belongs to wood element, and the metal Jue Ming Chi destroyed
the original balance of this house. People rely on the house just like
baby relies on mother, if the chi of the house was destroyed, the male
owner can’t not benefit from the Metal chi even though it was good for
him. Also because of the Gua Number of the male owner is Qian Gua,
which means he should live in the western parts, like Qian Gua area,
Gen Gua area, Kun Gua area and Gen Gua area. It doesn't mean that
people belong to different system of Gua Number have to live
separately, it sounds ridiculous. But they do need to make some
arrangements for their house or room. The problem in this case was the
room that they lived in didn'’t use any colors or elements to balance
the conflicts of the Chi. The room was wrong, and the door was wrong
either. That is why since they moved in, all kinds of problems were
coming so frequently.

In real fengshui practice, the problems are not that easy and simply.
Now more and more cases that those fengshui over simplified the feng
shui practice( they only know feng shui on a surface ground) in order
to make a profit via this business. But we could view the sea through
a drop, how important it is to know the Gua Number! It is the first
step to check the fengshui of the houses. After the arrangements from
our master, the life of that couple became much better. The details of
