Thursday - walk around SXSW for 6 hours (SXSW counts as exercise,
right? I danced too :))
Friday - workout with Diana 30 min
Friday - nutrition consultation with Amanda
Friday - 3 1-minute planks, 10 pushups, 25 clamshell crunches, 25
reverse crunches, 25 bridge planks
Friday - walk around SXSW for 4 hours
Saturday - 30 min cardio (elliptical), bicep curls, plants, reverse
crunches
Sunday - (plan to) walk 4 miles on the trails and do your homework

I had to really force myself to do this after my reverse lunges :) My legs are so tired! But I feel good about it!

I have some sort of bronchial infection, so I'm not doing much in the way of exercising this week, which sucks...but, my abs are getting a hell of a workout with all this coughing! I'd say it's equivalent to about 1,000 crunches :)

The antibiotics are doing their job, so I hit Gold's today so I can
get back on track with this contest. i feel so far behind!!

Run @ 5.8mph 15 minutes
Walk @ 4.0mps 15% incline 5 minutes (MUCH harder than running!)
Elliptical - 10 minutes

Weights - curls, deadlifts, triceps, chest press, planks, etc - 20 min

My dietary goal today - drink 100oz of water. I'm almost there. :)

Had a good eating day and thought I'd share:

one egg/1 egg white scrambled with whole wheat toast and low sugar
strawberry preserves
lean roast beef on 100 cal bread rounds with avocado, onion, tomato,
spinach, 1 apple
after my haircut, i was craving a sonic drink (love that ice) so i
went to get one and was soooooo tempted by the tots, but I didn't do
it. And on the way home, soooo tempted by Wendys, but kept driving.
When I got home I had a laughing cow light cheese wedge and kashi
crackers.
Dinner, made spaghetti squash with peas, spinach, tomato sauce,
mushrooms and low fat ricotta. it was GOOD! and john didn't believe me
when I told him it was squash instead of pasta. Had a 170 calorie cup
of B&J Chocolate fudge brownie Fro-Yo, and then before bed an
unsweetened glass of chocolate almond milk.

oh, and I'm getting up for a 9am hardcore class in the morning. And
you know how hard it is for me to workout before 11.

After my trip to the Caymans, I'll take a day off :) I didn't workout Thurs/Fri if that helps. Oh, and I also didn't post about the day i split a big bowl of queso and a cheese plate over a margarita...so don't think i'm perfect :)

I know you were kidding... No offense taken at all. I do tend to be an overachiever/brown noser when it comes to contests :)  but just know that I have my (very) off days too, but I'm trying hard with just 4 more days til my 40th birthday (YIKES!) to be in the best shape I can be...and THEN i can just let myself go ;)

I know those things can be hard to resist!

Last night ALL I wanted was something creamy and sweet. We thought about ice cream...but I opted for grapes and cottage cheese. I am so glad that I did. If you take a look at my blog about cravings, it talks about knowing when to keep things in your house that are good substitutes, and when we need to resist altogether.

And great job on getting to the gym early!
