Hey all,

I have just been to infinity to pick up the teas, and somehow managed to get them all home on my bike!  Such a huge box of goodies this has made me totally excited, particularly as it included my absolute favourite herbal tea Pukka love tea which is delicious.  450 ordinary tea bags as well, crikey.  Just for your info though, she included a big box of instant coffee but not ground.  I guess we could buy some if anyone thinks it is worth it?  Otherwise maybe not bother with the cafetieres.

See you tomorrow

Awesome! I <3 Pukka teas too. Happy to go with the instant coffee unless anyone disagrees?

Nothing to do with teas really, but just wanted to say how much fun it was working with you all. i still feel all warm and fuzzy from yesterday and how much of a success it was - you're all brilliant! I have some more pics but files too big to send in an email - so will put the rest of them on facebook in case you want to have a look. X

Me too! had a great time saturday, and I thought it went really smoothly and enjoyably for all, thanks to everyone's hard work and ease with working together.  Plus I have just paid £745 into the bank so we will be able to give the poppy project almost £750!

Yes! It was truly a lovely day. It was a beautiful thing watching it come together in spite of all the setbacks and things. Thanks everyone for all your hard work and patience.

Now, to sell these raffle tickets...

I spent much of the day thinking what great job everyone was doing. I went home thinking that the whole thing was due to a small group of women, excellent! Glad to be on board and it was lovely to meet you all. Am amazed at the final amount of money raised. See you all at the next meeting..

it was a great afternoon. I think the afternoon tea idea worked a treat. So many people made such amazing cakes and it's a great way for people to have been able to contribute even if they couldn't make it.

Lovely to have met you all and been part of such a fab day!

And looking forward to continuing to bug my family and friends with the offer of raffle tickets!!
