Hello,
Just a quickie to say that I have wangled a free place at the Men’s Network conference – my suicide prevention organisation has an interest in what they are doing around that topic. I will feed back to the group after attending.

Lisa isn't able to move the time as that's the only time that fits in with the
other members, so I wont be able to attend unfortunately. If anyone else is
free at that time to go as well that would be great, but also maybe the best
thing to do would be to meet next week sometime to go through where we are. I
can meet after work everyday next week, so let me know what's best and we can
meet somewhere to recap.

I can make 1pm, but if you’d like to come (probably best to have both of us
present) I am happy for you to move it around.

It's at 1pm, which is a difficult time for me. If it's difficult for you as
well perhaps I could ask them to make it later?

I should be able to, depending on what time it is.
I will ask my boss if I can take the time in lieu, if I can make it can someone
refresh me on our main points?

Hi Lisa,
I have attached our position statement for you to look through before the
meeting on Monday. Jackie and Hannah will be attending and I have copied them
into this email as I will be away from the internet after this eveninguntil
Tuesday. Could you let them knwo where the meeting will be held?
Many thanks again for agreeing to meet with us to discuss this.
Best wishes

Hi Laura
Thanks for your email. I think it would probably make sense for us to meet to
discuss the issues you raise as BWC and the wider women's voluntary sector
(WSSN) are very much aware of the Men's Network and the agenda they support.
You may well like to attend the next meeting of WSSN to highlight the concerns
of your group. If you would be interested in attending, I will forward your
request to the network.
best wishes
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Feminist brighton is a small activist group in brighton - you may remember
coming to and speaking at our event last November? I'm emailing because the
group has recently started discussing the Brighton and Hove Men's Network,
particularly some of the comments and pages on their website which members of
the group felt misrepresented equalities legislation and the case for women's
rights and the role of feminism in this and the under acheivement of boys and
men.
We wanted to draft a response to the group, along the lines that whilst we
think they are doing important work, their message undermines work done by women's
services in the city, and the specific needs of women who use them. We wondered
if you had come across or had any contact with the group and whether this might
fit in with any work that you have been doing? Any information you have would
be really useful, the group is undertaking some initial investigations to see
whether this is worth researching and what type of response would be
appropriate.
Best wishes
