You are receiving this because you asked to be put on the mailing list for
announcements about PHAML, the parallel adaptive multilevel elliptic PDE solver.
If you wish to be removed from the list, please send an email message to
ph...@nist.gov .
PHAML version 1.12.0 was released on January 7, 2013 and can be obtained from
the PHAML web page
http://math.nist.gov/phaml .
The main changes in this version are the addition of high order elements for 3D
(for constant-degree h-refinement; p and hp refinement are not yet supported), a
new tetrahedron data structure that uses less memory, the ability to keep the
linear system between calls to phaml_solve_pde, and access to hypre through
PETSc instead of direct.
For a full list of changes, see the Release Notes section of the User's Guide.
Also look throughout the User's Guide for red text. The User's Guide is
available on the PHAML web page.
You will not need to make any changes in your program with the upgrade from
1.11.0 to 1.12.0 unless you use the hypre solvers or preconditioners. But you
will need to use the new version of mkmkmfile.sh after modifying it for your system.
Please send any comments and bug reports to
ph...@nist.gov .
