You are receiving this because you asked to be put on the mailing list for
announcements about PHAML, the parallel adaptive multilevel elliptic PDE solver.
If you wish to be removed from the list, please send an email message to
ph...@nist.gov .
PHAML version 1.11.0 was released on August 6, 2012 and can be obtained from the
PHAML web page
http://math.nist.gov/phaml .
Most of the major changes in this release relate to the continuing development
of the 3D code. Major additions in this release are h-adaptive refinement,
nonrectangular domains, eigenvalue problems and periodic boundary conditions.
Major additions to 3D graphics are transparency, isosurfaces, grid lines and
contour plots on the cutting planes, and setting the view toward the xz or yz plane.
Major changes that are not specific to 3D are the ability to save the grid to a
.poly or .msh file, the addition of tags to the grid data structures, and the
ability to indicate the operator is the Laplacian and the triangles are all
isosceles right triangles for faster computation of elemental matrices.
For a full list of changes, see the Release Notes section of the User's Guide.
Also look throughout the User's Guide for red text. The User's Guide is
available on the PHAML web page.
