Duck Duck Go changes

Something I asked about at the meeting, concerning Duck Duck Go search results.
Lately, depending on the exactly which path you take to perform a DDG search, I'm finding the search just returns advertisements.

The first picture is a search, with a dropped pin marking my address

But another search for the same address results in no marker at my address, but a dozen nearby businesses.

I just wondered if other people are seeing this, or can characterize how to control it.

Personally not a DDG fan.  I've gotten too comfortable with Chrome with G-search.  They label who has the ads first and they again show up at the top of the list.  Sometimes the folks with the ads also have the best bang for the buck.  I tend to find filtering content with my brain is the best way to do it.

And...yes...DDG is a business and they need to make revenue to stay in business.

I think I might believe a browser has no affiliations if they charged you big bucks to install it.  So I guess that is a question...How many folks would pay for an ad free browser and how much would you pay?  Would you be willing to pay for each ad they blocked?
