I own a pair in almost every color. I love these tights, however I agree with a previous customer that there has been a change in the fit. I have always ordered medium and my most recent purchases (3) have been more constricting and less stretchy. The material also feels thicker that I thought I might have ordered the wrong tights. I prefer the old fit, but I still love the tights. I would recommend you size up though.
Even when temps are hot!, the Ice Fil Tight makes me feel comfortable. The major issue I have is the sizing. I previously wore and always ordered size medium. The last few times when ordering medium, they are too tight, restrictive feeling. The only explanation I can think of is that different colors appear to be different material. So, to be on the safe side rather than ordering medium to then get them and have to pay to ship back for exchange, I've been ordering size large . Yes, they are longer, but at least they are more comfortable than size medium.
Thank you for your comment Jennifer! Do you have any links to articles/the-how-to of releasing the psoas while engaging quads? I think tight hips are so common in riders that it would be great to explore it more ?
Short riding boots should be teamed with jodhpurs and either half chaps that cover the lower leg, or jodhpur clips (an elastic strap connection the bottom of the jodhpurs under the arch of the sole of the boots, to prevent the jodhpurs from riding up or twisting).
