HACU Scholarship Program for Undergraduate and Graduate Students

The HACU Scholarship Program 2012-2013 application is now open.  Deadline: May 25, 2012.

 Please review each scholarship;s criteria carefully to see if you qualify. In addition, all scholarship applicants MUST meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrate financial need (typically determined by FAFSA).
  2. Meet specific criteria for the scholarships to which they are applying.
  3. Attend a HACU-member college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico at the time applications are completed and scholarship awards are made. For the most up-to-date listing of HACU member institutions, please click here.

Aetna Nursing Scholarship--$2,500 Full-time or part-time undergraduate students attending 2- or 4-year HACU-member institutions. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and must be pursuing a degree in Nursing.

NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award--$3,300 Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending 4-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Engineering, Business, Public Relations, Mass Media, Sports Marketing, Marketing, Management, or Technology. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0., and attend school in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. Upon notification of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a headshot electronically to HACU for NASCAR press purposes.

Travelers Scholarship--$5,000 Full-time undergraduate students attending 4-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Accounting, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, General Business, General Management, and Human Resources. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

United Health Foundation/Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Scholarship--$2,000 Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending 2- or 4-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Clinical Psychology, Dental Technician, Nursing, (Pre) Optometry, (Pre) Dental, (Pre) Medicine, (Pre) Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, Public Health, Mental Health, Behavioral Health. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Recipients will be required to submit a professional resume and participate in a pre and post scholarship survey.
