Teach For America recruits recent college graduates and professionals to teach for two years in urban and rural communities throughout the United States. After two years, they become part of the TFA alumni network. Informed and inspired by their students, many continue teaching; others pursue other leadership roles in schools and school systems or launch careers in other fields that shape educational access and opportunity.

To be considered for admission to the Teach For America corps, you must satisfy three prerequisites: bachelor’s degree; a minimum cumulative GPA; and be a citizen, national/legal resident, or eligible Employment Authorization Document (EAD) holder.
