It is now clear from your messages that we can, should, and will
continue this group's existence. Perhaps all it took was a 2 by 4 to
get peoples' attention. It was always my hope that there would be
posting like the ones from Ken, Neil, and Arnie in which people
recount their own experiences with the system so we can discuss in a
collegial manner what types of reform would work best while
maintaining fairness to all participants. By my count, this group has
about 45 members. I will bet that each and every one of us has at
least one compelling story to share. Here are two requests I'd make of
you: 1. Consider submitting your own experiential history, and 2. See
if you can each recruit one friend or colleague to join with us. A
group of 100 or thereabouts should give us the collective knowledge,
experience, and wisdom to come up with some very credible ideas. Glad
to see this project still has life.

The Common Good presentation about Specialty Health Courts was surprisingly good.
What is the outlook for Federal funding for Medical Liability Reform demonstration and planning grants?
Is this a section of the Affordable Care Act that is targeted for de-funding by the current Congress?

Thanks
