Hello, Ryan! (Hello, Felix Users!)

I hope all is well on your end. In particular, I hope you are in much better health now than you were when you discontinued sales of Felix.

I know that Felix is now an open source project, but is that true of Memory Serves as well? I didn't find it in the project list below, so I'm guessing maybe not.

If you have the time/energy/inclination to make it open source, that might be useful for potential contributions that would need to add features on both sides.

Also, for the Felix user community: If you had the opportunity to create a list of the top five things you would like to see improved in Felix/Memory Serves, what would be on that list?

Please let me know--and thank you!

Sako

Hi Sako:

Memory Serves was always under the MIT license, but I haven't got around to making it open source. I intend to, though.

Regards,
Ryan

Thanks very much for the response, Ryan!

I know that you've been meaning to open-source Memory Serves for a while.

My reason for asking about this (and about the wishlist from Felix/Memory Serves users) is I need to find out if my employer will allow code to be contributed to Felix (and ideally Memory Serves as well), but it's kind of a moot point if Memory Serves has not been open-sourced.

Do you have a target date in mind for open-sourcing Memory Serves, by any chance? Please let me know--and thank you for all of the work you've done on these excellent tools!

Sako
