Hello, Bala

First off, thanks for taking the time to update this wonderful tool,
it makes every VTES player's life much easier.

I really liked the new group tool, but one thing I missed is the
capability of transfering decks betweeen groups (or at least I could
not find how).

Also, it would be interesting if I could add the ELD decks to the
group list somehow (once again, I could not figure out how, if already
possible).

Thank you :)

You can easily drag-and-drop any Deck between groups.

If you open an ELD Deck and Save it, then It will shown in the "My
Decks" list - after closing the Deck Builder.
Then you can also drag-and-drop the deck from "My Decks" list to "My
Groups" tree.

I hope it is clear.

Hi, Bala

Thanks for the clarifications. All is easy as it should be :)

Another suggestion, for future upgrades:

I usually count and update my inventory, and I have all of my decks
listed. It would be nice to have a third column in the inventory tab
with the number of cards I currently have in decks (or the total minus
the number I have in decks). That way, I would not have to disassemble
or relist all of my decks when I do an inventory count. It would be
similar and complimentary to the card availability check when you are
building decks.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Bala,

First of all, thank you for this effort! I think I was the one who
mentioned that the deck manager feature would be very useful. :)

Comments on 2.5 beta:
1) The deck preview will be easier to read if the contents were sorted
to Master/Action/Action Modifier/etc, like in the Deck Builder view.
2) Hopefully in the future you can implement importing current FELDB
files into the Deck Manager. It will be easier for people like me who
keep their decks in FELDB format only.

Very good work so far! Keep it up! :)

Please take a look in the downloads section, there you can find some
screenshots - maybe it helps

I'm working on it. (see related topic in jyhad groups)

That's why I start this new version. :)

It already works :) (Please download the latest Beta version)
U should use the Deck/Import ELD file(s) to FELDB menu. :)

Hi,

Hey, I didn't realize ELD meant FELDB decks! Cool!

Great beta, Bala.

A good feature, as Dragos mentioned, is a comparison of how many a
card in a decklist is, compared to the inventory.

For example:

Deck: XYZ
6x Animalism (Inv: 1/14)
1x Specialization (Inv: 1/0)
1x Giant's Blood (Inv: 0/-1)

...where 10/14 means there are 14 more in the inventory not used and 1
in another deck, 1/0 means there are no available in the inventory
anymore but 1 in another deck, and -1, where the inventory lacks 1
copy and 0 other decks have a copy. :)

Good luck, and keep up the good work!

Hi Bala,

First of all, congratulations for your exceptional job with this tool.
To me, nowadays, is unthinkable to construct a deck without first
assembling it in FELDB.

I have a suggestion for your consideration. As a Prince, I always ask
the players to bring to the tournaments a complete listings of their
decks, preferably printed. The FELDB already has a good printing
output, that would be perfect if it had fields for data such as the
VEKN number of the player, the name of the event and the date. With
that, the output of the FELDB would serve also as the application form
for the tournament, and it could be used also to post the winning deck
in RTCGJ.

Thank your for listening to our suggestions. I'm glad you let me help
improving your amazing tool.

Can you please test this version? Please import deck, fill the new
fields (in Info tab), print it, delete decks, modify decks, etv...
I hope this is what you want. :)

Hi bala,

I wanted to congratulate on the new Deck Manager feature. It works
really well and facilitates sorting decks a lot.

What I wanted to suggest is the following:
- could you include a feature that updates the card inventory from the
White Wolf site? That would solve the problem of typos and incorrects
texts of cards.
- another feature I have missed for a long time: it would be so great
if it was possible to sort the cards in a deck
- crypt cards by capacity and the alphabetically
- library cards alphabetically in a certain typ
- I personally would like to sort the types of library cards like
this: Master cards, then all the other types sorted alphabetically.

Kind regards,

Marcus

Im having an issue with the latest build. 2.5

I cant save decks! I can open old ones and import eld decks, but the
'save deck' command seems to go nowhere (open recent shows one of
them, cant open it) and the 'open feldb deck' command is greyed out
and unusable????

Hi,

If you're clicking on Save then your deck is saved to the Deck
Manager.
After that you can open it from Deck Manager.

If you click on "Save to..." button, then you can save to ELD file...

Do you have the latest version of FELDB??
