Čau, čau!

Rakstu lai padalītos 2 priecīgās vēstīs:

1. Mums pievienojas PR cilvēks Līga. Viņa pirms kāda laika ir beigusi Turību, kur mācījusies PR un šobrīd strādā marketingā. Vakar tikāmies un pārrunājām lietas. Līga palīdzēs mums tikt pie riktīgi foršas mājas lapas un savest kārtībā sen novārtā atstāto PR sfēru. Sīkāk par Līgu pielikumā. SVEICAM MŪSU BARIŅĀ!

2. 6. - 12. maijā notiks EYP (European Youth Press) ģenerālā asambleja - ikgadējs pasākums, kur notiek atskaite par gadā paveikto un valdes vēlēšanas. Atgādināšu, ka EYP kopš 2011. gada ir mūsu jumta organizācija, pateicoties kurai mums ir iespējas piedalīties un rīkot starptautiskus projektus. Šogad EYP GA notiks Sarajevā, Bosnijā Hercogovinā. No 6. līdz 10. maijam notiks žurnālistu treniņš par dzimuma jautājumiem, bet no 10. līdz 12. maijam lielās sēdes, kurās tiks risināti dažādi organizācijas iekšējie jautājumi. Visi ceļa un uzturēšanās izdevumi ir apmaksāti, tāpēc, uzskatu, ka šī ir A**jena kruta iespēja, lai uzkačātu savu žurnālista skilu un iebrauktu visās iespējās un notikumos, kas palīdzēs FEJS attīstīties. Par to, kurš no mums brauks, ir jāpaziņo līdz 22. martam.

Cilvēkam, kas brauks pārstāvēt FEJS:
1. Maijā jābūt brīvam pamest LV uz nedēļu
2. Lieliski jāpārzina FEJS darbība
3. Jāgrib dibināt kontakti ar cilvēkiem, kas apmeklēs GA
4. Jābūt izpratnei par ģenerālo asambleju formātu un jāspēj tajā veiksmīgi pārstāvēt FEJS intereses
5. Jābūt skaidrībai, ka viņš grib nākošgad būt FEJS valdē kā starptautiskā virziena vadītājs, priekšsēdētājs vai priekšsēdētāja vietnieks.

Lūdzu apdomāt visus šos piecus punktus un pieteikt sevi. Ja neviens cits nepieteiksies, brauks kāds no FEJS vecā sastāva. Aicinu katru neturēt savas ambīcijas zem pūra un izmantot iespēju augt kā personībai. Sīkāk par GA zemāk e-pastā.

Please save the date and join us at this years European Youth Press General Assembly in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina! 

We would hereby like to invite you to this year's General Assembly, which will take place from 10-12 May 2013 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, we would like to encourage you to take part in the "Gender in the Media" training course, which will take place between 6-13 of May in Sarajevo. The training course, which was developed by the European Youth Press and our member organization from Bosnia and Herzegovina, ONAUBIH, will focus on providing young journalists with the ability to recognize gender prejudice in the media and to help them gain practical skills on reporting on gender issues. During the coming weeks you will receive more detailed information about the training.

We kindly ask each of our Member Organizations and Committees to inform us until the 22 of March if they will be sending a representative to this years General Assembly and if they will be joining the "Gender in the Media" training course.

Accommodation and meals will be covered during the entire week. Please find further information on the reimbursement of the flight costs at the end of this email.

CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS

We are happy to announce that we are planning to fill in all the seats of the board. So we encourage all hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated people to apply! The deadline for applications is the 22nd of March! 

Please state, in the email of your application, if you would be able to attend the "Gender in the Media" training and the GA. Unless you are a representative of a MO or Committee, we cannot guarantee that it will be possible for you to attend.

Flight reimbursements

Representatives of MO's and Committees attending the full event: Attached to this email you can find a document with the maximum amount of flight costs that we can reimburse per person - depending on the country you are flying from. We encourage you to book them as soon as you have communicated the name of your representative to us. If you need to go above the reference place, please let us know, as we might not be able to refund you more than the estimated cost mentioned in the document. 

Representatives of MO's and Committees not attending the full event: Please inform us if you are not attending the full event as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reimburse or fully reimburse your flight costs. 

Applicants for Board: Unless you are a representative of a MO or Committee, we will have to assess if we will be able to reimburse your flight costs and to which extend.
