Most data stored on iOS devices can only be accessed via a full backup of the device (sometimes called iTunes backup). When iMazing first backs up your device, it will encourage you to enable Apple's backup encryption feature (AES-256), which ensures that your personal data is extra safe.

In addition, USB and Wi-Fi connections between your computer and your iOS devices go through a dedicated Apple communications protocol which uses end-to-end encryption (SSL/TLS 1.2, 1.3). iMazing goes through the same communication channels used by iTunes and the Finder, and fully respects Apple security flows. Pairing between your Apple mobile devices and your Mac or PC computer is handled by an Apple security layer, not directly by iMazing.

Finally, iMazing does not modify or attempt to modify iOS itself. It does not jailbreak Apple mobile devices, nor does it require devices to be jailbroken. All data is accessed and backed up via legitimate communication channels which do not compromise the security of your iOS devices.

When using iMazing's app management features, you may be asked to login to your Apple ID. This is required for iMazing to download apps which you have already legitimately acquired on the App Store or to download photos and videos from iCloud.

A different code-signing identity, certificate authority, thumbprint, or the absence of code-signing, indicate that you have downloaded a non-genuine version of iMazing which could be infected with malware. Please report any such finding immediately, mentioning the source of the application.

Requirements:

- A computer running macOS or Windows, you are not able to do this on your device only.

- WinRar or 7-Zip or any other similar ones. 7z crashed for me so WinRar is suggested.

- iMazing [Free] or iMazing [Full Version]

- Your Non-Jailbroken iDevice connected via USB cable. This method also works on Jailbroken iDevices, but this should mainly be used for Non-Jailbroken devices as Jailbroken devices have an alternative and much simpler way of installing save game cheats.

- Find My iPhone Turned Off. Yeah, this may sound sketchy but it's required for this tutorial to work. Enable it again once you have successfully applied the hack!

2. Make sure you have your target app installed on your iDevice. To be certain, play the app a bit so it generates the save files it requires. For this tutorial, I will be hacking Merge Dragons! using this hack from iOSGods. So go ahead and download the hack onto your PC.

5. In the Back Up App Data screen, make sure "Back Up and Extract App Data" option is ticked and click Next & then follow the on-screen warnings and instructions. Your app will be backed up and extracted to your PC in the destination you chose.

6. Now this is where WinRar comes in. Open the new xyxyxy.imazingapp file via WinRar then open the Container folder and in there you will see your app's Documents & Library folder. This is the part where you copy over the hack files you downloaded from iOSGods. Drag the hack files inside WinRar. Save files must be placed in their respective directories. 7. Replace old files if prompted and then close WinRar and go back to your iMazing Manage Apps tab. Scroll back to your app and right click it, but this time, you will click the option "Restore App Data". Inside the Restore App Data screen, choose the file you just opened with WinRar. The one where you moved the hack files into. Then click Done. Your iDevice will reboot in order to restore the app's data.

I want to know how I can fix it without a restore so I can keep root access. I have root SSH access to the device, which is amazingly still connected to the WiFi. I can also use apt tools(apt-get apt-cache dpkg) and I've removed the last installed tweaks(apt-get purge)(DefaultPlayer and iCleaner).

I would suggest reinstalling the system anyway because if your safe mode isn't working it means that the private system partition is broken, even if you got it working for some reason it would have loads of problems in the future, unfortunately, you'll lose your jailbreak.

Before we get started, it is important to know that this method does not require the use of a jailbroken iPhone or iPad, but there is one critical element needed; and that is an Apple ID that had been used to previously download Fortnite when it was available on the App Store.

Step 5: Now, drag and drop the Fortnite-ForTutuBox.io.imazingapp file you downloaded earlier in Step 2, followed by selecting App > Next > Transfer and you will see the Fortnite installation process initiate.

Step 6: You will now be asked to sign in using and Apple ID to grab the app, but as mentioned earlier, this will only work if that Apple ID has earlier been used to download Fortnite from the App Store. Now wait and follow all on-screen prompts as the installation wraps up.

This could be problematic due to entitlements. If the application uses them extensively then you would have to create provisioning profile containing all of them possibly also modifying the application binaries as some entitlements can't be recreated as is (like app groups and iCloud containers which are globally unique across all developer accounts).

Free developer account is even worse as it doesn't have access to some entitlements. You would have to examine the application signature and see which entitlements it uses and what the probability that it might work without them. For example, re-signing an app without SiriKit entitlement might cause a crash. When an app tries to access the API iOS will kill it due to missing entitlement.

You might heard about Cydia Impactor which does exactly that. But it actually does a pretty poor job of it. It doesn't preserve entitlements, so there's high probability that the app will crash. Pretty much all remotely complex apps use many entitlements. But it's worth a try anyway.

In fact, jailbreaking does not enable you to run un-signed code on iOS devices. It just allows you to install some plugin to tweak the system. You still need something like AppSync ( ) to bypass the system-level code signature verification.
