When a user logs in to ADC Portal and clicks an app or desktop after being idle for 15 minutes the portal seems to first log the user out, but then shows a message "Your session has expired. Please logon again to continue" with a logon button. When a user clicks the button he/she sees "Citrix Gateway" and a spinning wheel, but the portal never loads. The user has to delete the cookie to be able to access the login screen again, and has to re-type username and password.
So after 15 minute you refreshed, Now citrix gateway session is stil there so it worked on citrix gateway. but when it went to LB vserver the persistence timed out and you went to a different Storefront LB service which was not used. Since this new SF server is not aware about your previous session and hence it can't load that page and it keeps rerfreshing.
Thanks for the tip. I removed the second server from Load Balancing Virtual Server ServiceGroup and logged in. After I refresh the page it still shows the "Citrix Gateway" and the spinning wheel, and the portal doesn't load (apps and desktops never come visible). I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that our storefront is using http instead of https.
I have a question about the bookmark possibilities of the new portal theme 'RfWebUI' of NetScaler 11.1. For security reasons we want to disable the 'Bookmark' button which is visible near the top right corner allowing users to add personal web/RDP bookmarks. Unfortunately there seems to be no option at the theme configuration available to disable it so I assume that manual customizations are required here.
We are not able to load Citrix Gateway portal in those browsers anymore after the upgrade. We're getting error "ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED" on browsers. The issue happened immediately after those browsers update. We can open portal without any issue via Firefox and either via installed WorkspaceApp.
That does NOT look to me as the only ADC issue. Perhaps it is some kind of combination of new security rules applied for Chromium (??) and ADC setting(s), because I don't see the same issue on another Citrix Gateway portals on different ADC's running the same firmware version. I'm neither able to replicate it in my lab.

Hi, I am using Xenapp 6.5 and IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008 R2. After I change XML port to 8080 the citrix web login portal can't be display/show, But if I use Citrix Quick Launch portable apps everything working fine with a new port (8080). Did I missed something on the setting ?
Yes on citrix web interface management, both Xen App Website and xenapp sevices site already on port 8080. If I try open c:\inetpub\wwwroot\citrix\xenapp\default.htm there is an error : XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: file:///C:/inetpub/wwwroot/Citrix/XenApp/auth/silentDetection.aspx Line Number 1, Column 2:
I've disable the silent detection, But still display the same error message when I try open c:\inetpub\wwwroot\citrix\xenapp\default.htm. Do I have to restart something after disable the silent detection ?
My org uses 2 factor security and has a very quick auto time-out period for the citrix gateway in chrome. Is there a way I can (extension or other 3rd party app/trick) to keep the tab active so it doesn't time out while I do my work?
Training materials and a practice environment are accessible via the Citrix portal. The D-Hconnect practice environment has test patients and test data for you to familiarize yourself with its features and navigation.
Admins can customize the portal themes by creating the custom themes to achieve the personalized look and feel of the user portal. Custom themes can be created based on the RfWebUI, Default, X1, and GreenBubble themes.
Before starting, check your Citrix Gateway web portal theme. The inline, browser-based Duo Prompt is compatible with the "Default" (aka "Caxton"), "Green Bubbles", "X1", and "RFWebUI" NetScaler themes (as well as custom themes based on one of those built-in themes). Note that Citrix will retire all themes other than RFWebUI in a v13 release.
Columbian Cloud Portal - Citrix Access Gateway: The CCAS Cloud portal can be used to access virtual applications such as Microsoft Office, MatLab, and SPSS, as well as full Windows 10 virtual desktops. The portal can be accessed anywhere in the world and from any device. Upon launch of an application, a secure VPN tunnel is established between the end user's workstation and the Columbian Cloud.
NetScaler provides a web application firewall (WAF) and bot management to protect both your login portal pages and your applications. You can use such features as rate limiting and IP reputation management to prevent password spraying attacks and brute-force login attempts.
