is there a way to tweak the code so that subscribers get the default
"check your email for confirmation..." and on that form there is a
link to "return to previous page" or whatever...or even the homepage?
Or maybe it could be a popup screen that tells them this that they
could just X out of?

I followed the instructions for adding a return URL, which works. But
it totally skips the screen that says to check their email to confirm
sign up.

Hi Kerry,

Sorry for the trouble. There isn't a way to do exactly what you're
asking, but the work around is to simply put the confirmation message
on your own return URL page. You may need to create a new page for
this (as opposed to sending them right back to your homepage) but
hopefully it works!

solution.thank you.
