Currently, I do a post once a week (kinda like a newsletter) and my
email list receive this each week. If I move my subscribers to
FeedmailPro does that mean with an email list of around 150 some
subscribers may not receive an email from me for 3 weeks (i.e. 3 posts
to activate)? If that is so is there any work around to get my list
activated any quicker so they still receive their weekly email?
Many thanks!
We don't currently support sending only posts with a certain tag, but
the work around your described (or any other filter you want to use to
produce a specific RSS feed, such as with Yahoo Pipes) should work
with FeedmailPro. Basically we just email out whatever is in the RSS
feed - so if you create a more specific RSS feed that is fine.
On the imports - there is no way to speed it up. But it's probably
not as bad as you are imagining. 10 people will get the first post.
100 will get the second (the majority of your list). The third will
go to your entire list. So it's really 2 posts in that case.
Also, if you want to speed up the process you can always do a few
posts a day apart during the import phase. Even if it's something
short like - "Good luck on your XYZ today!", as long as your list
doesn't consider it spam that is a valid import mailing and will count
as such. As long as they are at least 24 hours apart you can speed up
your import like that.
Hope it helps!
Brian
