Importing not working for me

Hi,

I've tried to import my list a few times, and first it says,
importing.....check back. But then I go back and nothing has changed.
I'm trying to import a .csv file with 375 subscribers. I understand
that they may not receive the posts immediately, but I understood that
they are added, with the status "importing", then later, it switches
to subscribed. Right now, I am still the only one listed, on the
subscribers page. Please help - what am I doing wrong?

Hi Stacey,

Sorry for the trouble. It should take at least 3 posts (separated by
24 hours each) to import a list that size. How many blog posts have
gone out since you started the import?

Hi Brian,

Thanks very much for your response. I appreciate it. I think only 1
post went out, but I can't really remember because I tried to import
so many times....not knowing if it was working...

I understand that the service may not actually send out to these
subscribers, but are they be added in some kind of an inactive state?
I guess I'm wondering if I should see anything at all different on my
"subscribers" page so I know that the import worked.

Also, since I tried importing a number of times, I'm hoping that this
doesn't duplicate subscribers.

Hi Stacey,

On the mailings tab you'll see the number of recipients going up on each post.  This is how you know the import is working and making progress.  You may have already seen this but it has more info on how it works:

You won't be duplicating subscribers so no need to worry there.  Hope it helps!
