which posts make it into the pdf?

It's not obvious to me what determines if a particular post makes it
into the pdf? is there a certain publishing time setting i.e. if a
post has been published in the past X hours, then it goes into the
pdf, otherwise it doesnt?

In FeedJournal Reader, there is a drop-down box on the top of the page
where you can set which articles are included in the newspaper. You
can select to use all new articles since the last FeedJournal issue
was published or a specific number of days. Only articles that are
currently in the RSS feed will be included.

For FeedJournal Publisher you are specifying a date; articles
published before that date are filtered out from the issue.

For both editions of the service you are in addition able to specify a
maximum number of articles included from each news feed.
